Capt. Kenneth Howell of Trenton, N.J., establishes communication with a King Air ER-ISR, flying at a higher altitude, as a CH 2000 flies at low altitude in the background. Both aircraft are a part of the Iraqi air force’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities and flew in support of an Iraqi Fires Observer course in which Iraqi army officers learned to integrate the Iraqi air force into army operations. Howell is an ordnance officer assigned to the 321st AEAW, ITAM-AF. The CH 2000 pictured here is assigned to the recently activated 70th Air Force Squadron, Ali Air Base. (Photo by Staff Sgt.
