Francis C. Averill, Jr. and Betty Ann B. Moreno, as George and Martha Washington, attend the Society of Martha Washington Pageant in Laredo, Texas, Feb. 18. Averill and Moreno served as George and Martha throughout the year, bringing history alive as they visited schools and other civic events in the area. A special invitation to attend allowed Texas Military Forces representatives the opportunity to support a Laredo tradition.
