U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Kenneth S. Dowd, commanding general of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, presents a coin to Sgt. David A. Nelson, for outstanding performance. Nelson, whose hometown is Petal, Miss., serves as the rations accountability sergeant in the Mississippi Army National Guard’s 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command. The 184th ESC is currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and directs all military logistics support for American and coalition forces in Afghanistan.
