MOUNT BARTLE FRERE, Australia – U.S. Marines and soldiers, along with soldiers from the Australian Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, pose for a photo with Bush Tucker Man Les Hiddins before hiking to the summit of Queensland’s highest peak during Exercise Kowari 2017 Aug. 28, 2017. Hiddins taught the soldiers and Marines about the dangers and benefits of the unforgiving environment in Far North Queensland. Kowari is an annual adventure training activity held in Australia to reinforce trilateral military relationships, trust and co-operation between Australia, China and the United States.
