DAHLGREN, Va. (Aug. 23, 2017) - Charles Dischinger, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) discipline deputy for human factors, left, discusses different approaches to unmanned systems integration with Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Panama City Division engineers Giancarlo Mafiol, middle, and Louis Lee at the fourth annual NSWC Dahlgren Division Unmanned Systems Integration Workshop and Technical Exchange Meeting. Lee presented a brief at the event entitled, "National Unmanned Systems Shared Resource Center Lessons Learned from Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Sensor Integration." NSWC Panama City's efforts in unmanned and autonomous systems support submarine and submersible hydro-acoustic and propulsor research, torpedo defense, mine countermeasures, amphibious warfare, and special operations surveillance and reconnaissance.
