    Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Tristan De Delva and Builder 3rd Class John Williams, Seabees assigned to Underwater Construction Team 2’s Construction Diving Detachment ALFA (CDDA), ascend through the water column carrying SCUBA cylinders that were used to inflate a lift bag. CDDA is currently conducting underwater rigging and weight handling operations as part of a project to inspect and maintain Naval Base Guam’s fleet mooring systems. CDDA is on the second stop of their six-month deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
