Explosive ordinance disposal technicians detonate an improvised explosive device along rout 611 during a vehicle convoy, Feb. 23. Marines with Route Clearance Platoon 3, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), discovered three IEDs while clearing the route to allow coalition forces freedom of movement.
