U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Benjamin J. Pharris, whose hometown is Seymour, Mo., smiles after receiving a Joint Service Commendation Medal from 1st Lt. Rodney L. Hall, executive officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, in a ceremony held March 14. Pharris, who is awaiting his next duty assignment, has completed his tour of duty with the Mississippi Army National Guard unit, where he served as a logistics specialist. The 184th ESC directs all military logistics support for American and coalition forces in Afghanistan.
