Teresa Egan, a nurse with Company C, 299th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division –Center and a Wauwatosa, Wis., native, adjusts a wheelchair for a local Iraqi woman Feb. 19 at Forward Operating Base Prosperity while volunteering with the nonprofit group “Wheelchairs for Iraqi Kids.” The project’s end goal was to fit 60 disabled Iraqi children into specialty pediatric wheelchairs to improve the quality of life for both the child and their family.
