Sgt. Maj. Joel Collins, Marine Raider Support Group, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command, relinquishes the sword of office to Col. Nicholas Vavich, MRSG commanding officer, during the MRSG relief and appointment ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 15, 2017. During the ceremony, Col. Vavich presented the sword of office to Sgt. Maj. Timothy Henshaw, who assumes the position as sergeant major for MRSG. Sgt. Maj.
