An Army National Guard guidon bearer assigned to the 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment stands for a final formation outside the Leonard B. Francis Armory in St. Thomas, Sept, 26, 2017. More than 300 members of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard departed St. Thomas after assisting with hurricane recovery efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Soldiers helped to establish and manage food and supplies distribution points throughout the islands, maintained multiple security checkpoints and performed high volume water purification.
