171012-N-TR141-0084 PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 12, 2017) Sonar Technician (Surface) 2nd Class Amy Adair, right, from Muncie, Ind., and Gunner’s Mate Seaman Apprentice Ave’Anna Cash, from Lubbock, Texas, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90), connect a MK 31 Mod 1 Air Stabilizer to a torpedo. Chafee is part of the U.S. 3rd Fleet and U.S. Naval Surface Forces, currently deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility on a routine scheduled deployment.
