Naval Air Crewman Airman Francesco Schittinu, from Baltimore, Md., and Naval Air Crewman Airman Steve Platt, from Utah, both assigned to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit, look through recyclable materials and other items which can be recycled during the kick-off of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island's 21st Earth Day. Earth Day is April 22, and is credited with highlighting mainstream environmental concerns such as the need for clean water, recycling and clean energy.
