DAHLGREN, Va. (Oct. 16, 2017) – The Aegis Training and Readiness Center Ceremonial Color Guard marches in front of military and civilian personnel gathered with visitors to commemorate the centennial of the Navy base at Dahlgren with a kickoff ceremony. Over the next 12 months, personnel at the base and its tenant commands will join the community to engage in activities such as a science, technology, engineering and mathematics event, a time capsule ceremony, triathlon, spring picnic, concert lunch, historic movie premier, rocket contest, and a grand finale – all in celebration of the centennial.
