171017-N-TN557-014 SAN DIEGO (Oct. 17, 2017) - Vince Barton (left), assigned to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Pacific, prepares Meteorological Mobile Facility (Replacement) Next Generation (METMF(R) NEXGEN) program equipment for deployment to Puerto Rico to assist in weather monitoring efforts for the National Weather Service. Barton, along with two other military and civilian technical experts from Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) and SSC Pacific, will deploy to Puerto Rico to facilitate the installation, integration and testing of the weather radars.
