Bonhomme Richard hosted a tour for 21 Fukuoka University students to provide them an opportunity to learn about U.S. Navy amphibious operations as part of a visit to Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS). Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
