Washington National Guard soldiers of the 792nd Chemical Company dress in decontamination suits as part of a joint training exercise, October 14, 2017 in Elma, Washington. The exercise featured an earthquake scenario, which caused damage to the local Vertellus chemical plant and resulted in mock casualties who required decontamination before getting medical aid. The joint exercise included Summit Pacific Medical Center staff, Grays Harbor County emergency response personnel and Washington National Guard members, who worked closely to identify and improve their response, communication and decontamination skills.
