Scott Heller and SPAWAR Program Manager for the project Gilbert Huff cut the ribbon on two new facilities on board Joint Base Charleston - Naval Weapons Station. The buildings will be the new home for SSC Atlantic’s Cyber Forensics and Data Recovery Laboratory and the Navy’s newest Cyber Red Team. These teams will be providing cutting edge cybersecurity technical capabilities to better prevent and mitigate adversary cyber attacks for our Navy and our nation. SSC Atlantic develops, acquires and provides life cycle support for command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, information technology and space capabilities. A leading-edge Navy engineering center, SSC Atlantic designs, builds, tests, fields and supports many of the finest frontline C4ISR systems in use today, and those being planned for the future.
