OKINAWA, Japan – (Oct. 25, 2017) – Rear Adm. Gregory Fenton, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Japan, Navy Region Japan and Task Force 7, speaks with Maj. Gen. Tomofusa Harada, commanding general of the 15th Brigade of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force, at a meeting as part of Fenton's tour to meet Japanese leadership and assess Navy installations for the first time since assuming command in June 2017. Throughout the tour, Fenton emphasized the continued partnership between the U.S. and Japan through cooperative training and cultural exchange.
