COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (Oct. 28, 2017) A port authority boat pulls alongside the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) as the ship prepares to pull into Colombo, Sri Lanka, for a port visit. Kidd is part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group on a regularly scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
