YAUCO, Puerto Rico -- Wilfredo Castro, a project manager with BIM Contractors, stands among the earthmoving equipment his team uses during emergency levee construction underway in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Nov. 6, 2017. Castro, along with a team of workers, engineers, and support staff, worked long hours in order to expedite the levee project after the Yauco river burst over its banks into the Lucchetti community, destroying homes and forcing the evacuation of residents. The project, led by the Army Corps of Engineers, will use over 10,000 cubic meters of earth to ensure the safety of the residents of Yauco. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
