Fort Meade, Md., - Command Sgt. Maj. Corey E. Brown, the 704th Military Intelligence Brigade’s senior enlisted leader stands at the command headquarters building Nov. 30, shortly after he assumed responsibility of the organization. Brown, a native of Orlando, Florida is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy Non-resident Course, Class 37 and is a proud recipient of the Military Intelligence Corps Knowlton Award for demonstrated excellence in the MI corps.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal with a Bronze Service Star, Iraqi Campaign Medal with one campaign star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, the NATO Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Air Assault Badge, and the Wheeled Drivers Badge.
