Nearly 1,000 information technology experts from all facets of the Department of Defense, to include military departments, combatant commands, and DoD agencies, met at the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) first Cloud Symposium, Dec. 12, at Fort George G. Meade, Md., for educational sessions and workshops on establishing a baseline of cloud knowledge and to streamline the Department's effort to "make rapid enterprise-wide cloud adoption a reality," as directed by the Deputy Secretary of Defense.
