I Corps and 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command Soldiers coordinate with Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force counterparts Nov. 29, 2017, ahead of Yama Sakura 73. Yama Sakura is a bilateral command post exercise joining I Corps, 593rd ESC and other Army elements with soldiers from the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force. Held annually, YS moves each year to different regions of Japan to train with regional armies.
