Cmdr. William Herrmann, commanding officer of the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York, renders honors to the guided-missile frigate USS Carr during a parade of ships in the New York Harbor. New York has 7.5 tons of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center towers forged into her bow and is participating in the 24th annual Fleet Week New York 2011.
