Senior Airman Joshua Grygorcewilz, 451st Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Detachment 1 Aeromedical Evacuation Operations Team, waits to load a wounded Marine onto an ambulance bus in order to be transported to a waiting C-130 Hercules at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. Members of AEOT work closely with members from the contingency aeromedical staging facility who are responsible for transporting patients from the staging facility and role hospital to aircraft who are then transported to the next level of medical care. Airman Grygorcewilz is deployed from the 26th Operations Support Squadron, McConnell AFB, Kan.
