To the Soldiers and Civilians of the 7th MSC:
I would like to thank everyone for your patience as we strain through the effects and impacts of our government’s shutdown. All part-time Army Reserve Soldiers, civilian employees and contractors are integral to our team and the defense of our nation, but we must adhere to the laws of our nation.
Our Active Guard Reserve staff will remain available to our 7th MSC family, that includes our Chaplain, Inspector General, Judge Advocate General and others, to name a few. Outside our organization, many resources also remains operational. For example, most patient services at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center will continue and online information can be accessed at any time at Army One Source.
Please be assured that all levels of leadership are committed to working through the challenges in the days ahead. We value each and every person in the 7th Mission Support Command and we look forward to the resumption of normal activities soon after the shutdown is resolved.
Sincerely,
Fred R. Maiocco
Brigadier General, U.S. Army
Commanding
