U.S. Marines with Alpha Battery, 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion (LAAD), participate in a conditioning hike during Mountain Training Exercise (MTX) 1-18 on Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., on Jan. 24, 2018. 2nd LAAD participated in MTX to increase the unit’s ability to rapidly respond, sustain itself, and to accomplish missions in a unique cold weather environment and mountainous terrain.
