MG Keith L. Ware submission for Graphic Arts Category B: Identity Design.
The Army University Press logo was created as part of the rebranding effort from "Army Press" to "Army University Press". The open book was used as a primary element because the organization publishes books and scholarly journals. The star above the open book is the same as that found in the official U.S. Army logo and was used to show unity in branding as well as help identify the organization as an official entity of the U.S. Army. The words "Army University Press" are written below so those who see the logo can become familiar with the name of the organization. The black, white and gold color scheme was used throughout to also conform to the U.S. Army branding color scheme.
