Sgt. Randy Kieso, a combat medic within 3rd Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, will deploy for the first time in his Army career with the 1st SFAB on their first-ever deployment to Afghanistan in the spring of 2018 following their month-long rotation at the Joint Readiness Center at Fort Polk, La.
