NAVSUP Global Logistics Support (GLS) Commander Rear Adm. Grafton “Chip” Chase analyzes fuels infrastructure in the 6th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR). A key component to the admiral’s visit was physically assessing infrastructure in Rota, Spain; Naples and Sigonella, Italy; and in Souda Bay, Greece. He met with senior base leadership at each site to better understand unique customs requirements, husbanding authorities, and foster relationships pertaining to delivering combat capability through logistics support.
