Tech. Sgt. Allen Young, a guardsman from the 144th Fighter
Wing, California National Guard, came all the way from his hometown in
Fresno, Calif to serve on orders for four months as a tactical aircraft
maintenance technician at Robins AFB, Ga. While on orders, he has the
opportunity to learn skills and gain experience that would be
nigh-impossible to replicate at home station with his National Guard unit.
When his orders end, he will be able to bring those new skills home to his
unit.
