Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher Duke places a tourniquet on a Marine during a simulated casualty evacuation during the infantry platoon battle course at Fort Pickett, Va., Feb. 21, 2018. The course provided corpsman the opportunity to improve medical evacuation procedures and work with their counterparts in a large scale combined arms range. The deployment for training refines collective warfighting skills and functions in order to prepare for future combat operations.
