The memorial stand of U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Bell, a military police officer with the 164th Military Police Company, from Saint Joseph, Mich., June 11 on Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan. Bell and three other soldiers from the 164th MP Company, Sgt. Joshua D. Powell, of Tyler, Texas, Sgt. Devin Snyder of Cohockton, N.Y., and Spc. Robert Voakes, Jr., of Hancock, Mich., were killed in an improvised explosive device attack June 4 outside the village of Khanda in Laghman province, Afghanistan.
