Alaska Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Heath Chesnut, an infantryman with 1st Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment, suits up before taking a commercial plane March 6, 2018, at Deadhorse, Alaska, to Ice Camp Skate at the North Pole. Chesnut is a pathfinder who was responsible for rigging a sling load evacuating Arctic Sustainment Package dunnage by way of an Alaska Air National Guard HH-60 Pave Hawk.
