180306-N-YJ378-0124 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 6, 2018) Electronics Technician 3rd Class Colin Robinson from Philadelphia (left), provides training to Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class John Belliveau, from Naples, Maine, during a live-fire exercise with the M240B machine gun aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Anchorage is underway training with other ships of the USS Essex (LHD 2) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) during the Navy’s first Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase war fighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
