    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Capt. Eric Lloyd is a CH-53E Super Stallion pilot with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461, deployed to Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, out of Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C. Lloyd began his career as a crew chief for the CH-53E. His duties included performing maintenance on the aircraft, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with loading personnel and cargo, and advising the pilots during flight.
