MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 10, 2018) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuel) 3rd Class Kansas King conducts quality assurance of fuel received from the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS William McLean (T-AKE 12) aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during a replenishment-at-sea, March 10, 2018. Iwo Jima, homeported in Mayport, Florida, is participating in Juniper Cobra 2018 (JC18) and conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations. JC18 is a computer-assisted exercise conducted through computer simulations focused on improving combined missile defense capabilities and overall interoperability between the U.S. European Command and Israel Defense Force.
