U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Frank Makoski and Maj. Robert Arbegast walk off of the flight line on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, March 13, 2018. The Marines completed their final flight with the AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters before the aircraft retire from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367. Makoski, an Orwell, Ohio native, is the commanding officer of HMLA-367, Marine Aircraft Group 24. Arbegast, an Ayden, North Carolina native, is the maintenance officer of HMLA-367, MAG-24.
