Seamus McLaughlin removes the barrel from a .50 caliber machine gun that is mounted to a HMMWV while wearing the improved M50 General Purpose Mask at McCrady Training Center, South Carolina, on Mar. 16, 2018. The M50 General Purpose Mask is a new replacement for the M40 protective mask, and it provides 24 hours of above-the-neck protection against chemical agents, and radioactive particles.
