Capt. Everett Harris, C Company, 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade commander, attaches an 82nd Airborne Division patch to the right shoulder of Sgt. Bryce Coffman during a ceremony at Camp Ramadi, Iraq, June 30. After being deployed to Iraq for 30 days, Green Falcon paratroopers are authorized to wear the coveted "Double A" combat patch. Coffman is a signal support specialist with C Company, 2BSTB. As one of the few units to have taken part in every major campaign of the U.S. military's operations in Iraq, the 2/82 has been tasked with strengthening the Iraqi security forces as they work to maintain a safe and secure environment for the Iraqi people as the 2/82 leads the transition of U.S. forces out of Iraq.
