COLUMBUS, Ohio — Master Sgt. Damian Cason speaks to coaches and student athletes who attended the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Convention about the Marine Corps’ valuable partnership with the WBCA after they participated a wake up and workout session at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio, March 30, 2018. Marines attended the WBCA to engage with women of all experience levels and inform them about opportunities within the Corps. This year, the Marine Corps celebrates 100 years since women first joined the Corps, an anniversary celebrated for the progress of women who now have the ability to join any occupational specialty within the Marines.
