180403-N-YM543-120 YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 3, 2018) - Afloat Training Group member, Chief Electrician's Mate Benjamin Lorenzo, from Berwyn, Ill., gives tag-out training to crew members of USS Blue Ridge in preparation of the ship's Mobility-Engineering (MOB-E) certification. Tag-outs are a preventative measure the Navy uses to ensure electrical safety by making sure a piece of electrical equipment is turned off when maintenance must be performed. Blue Ridge and her crew have now entered a final upkeep and training phase in preparation to become fully mission capable for operations.
