Col. Raul Rivas of AFRICOM and Lt.Col. Ngosa Laston, the ZAMBAT Commander, observe Zambian Battalion training at the Nanking Peace Mission Training center on Mar. 26. The Zambian battalion will soon deploy in support of the United Nations Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic. Training modules include; marksmanship, mounted battle drills, battlefield trauma scenarios, cordon and search, and convoy operations. Training began on 29 Jan and is scheduled to complete on 29 Mar.
