Two lower enlisted Soldiers and four Noncommissioned Officers from various units in the Maine Army National Guard competed in the state level of the Best Warrior Competition on April 6-7 at the 240th Regiment Regional Training Institute in Bangor, Maine. This event tested the Soldiers both mentally and physically over the course of two days. The top scoring lower enlisted Soldier and the top scoring NCO will move onto the regional competition where they will compete head to head with other state’s top enlisted Soldiers.
