Don Reynolds, a world renowned artist and sculptor, and his latest masterpiece, the Blue Jacket Recruit, at the conclusion of the statue’s dedication ceremony conducted April 14, 2018, at Blue Jacket Park in Orlando, Fla. The Blue Jacket Recruit statue commemorates the more than 188,000 women who graduated from Navy boot camp at Recruit Training Center Orlando from 1968-94.
