Gen. Raymond E. Johns Jr. addresses hundreds of medical professionals at the first-ever, U.S.-led international in-flight medical care conference July 20, 2011, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Johns, the commander of Air Mobility Command, opened the two-day International Aeromedical Evacuation/En Route Care Conference as the keynote speaker. The event brings together doctors, nurses and paramedics from around the globe to share stories, advice and lessons learned in an effort to build effective partnerships.
