Senior Chief Petty Officer Christopher Wyatt, operations specialist, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5 salutes Commander, 7th Fleet Vice Adm. Scott Van Buskirk before giving him a ride on landing craft air cushion 21 during his visit to the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A.D. Hull, is participating with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in exercise Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral command post and field training exercise designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between U.S. and Australian forces.
