Soldiers from Fort Benning Mission Command Center of Excellence and the Army Sustainment Command – Army Reserve Element Detachment 7, supported by CERDEC engineers, evaluated CERDEC’s Tactical Computing Environment and other mission command technologies during the Expeditionary Command Post Science and Technology Field-Based Risk Reduction Exercise in July at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The Tactical Computing Environment allows users to collaborate across platforms such as tablets, laptops and other mounted and dismounted computing devices, and is network-agnostic, which allows it to operate across varying bandwidths.
