180427-N-NM197-152 YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 27, 2018) - Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Danny Rojas, from Hollywood, Fla., attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), is lowered into the water during a Search and Rescue (SAR) certification. SAR swimmers play a key role in personnel safety and mission readiness of U.S. Naval Operations. Blue Ridge and her crew have now entered a final upkeep and training phase in preparation to become fully mission capable for operations.
